To train and promote practical agricultural skills to trainees and the community at large.



MESSAGE FROM THE HOD

Agriculture and Environmental studies department has two units i.e the academic unit and the production unit.
Currently the department offers the following courses at Diploma, Certificate, Artisan and CDACC levels.

The department has aligned training programs with Technical and Vocational Training Authority (TVETA), Vision 2030 and the Big four agenda.
The department has adequate, qualified and experienced training personnel.
The production units of the department helps trainees gain hands-on learning experience and is made of livestock such as pigs, sheep, rabbits, poultry (guinea fowls, geese, chicken, quills), cattle and also different crops species production.

The department is well equipped with modern farm machinery and equipment, green houses, irrigation systems and a 5 acre farm to facilitate both training and production.
